Just Breathe

I’ve been saying it for years. Just breathe!

Most of us are in an ongoing state of overwhelm and anxiety from the stressors of society. Our nervous systems are in a near constant “fight or flight” response pouring out adrenaline, norepinephrine and cortisol, the stress hormones that are damaging our bodies.

One simple, yet powerful solution is to breathe. Pause from your day and take five deep, long breaths. It will reset your neural network and allow you to be in the moment.

I’m excited and hopeful that we can teach these techniques to children, so that they may have an early start on navigating more successfully through life and manage their emotions Wonderful video.
