Passion Tip Video: “Have To” Versus “Get To”

One of my favorite Louise Hay quotes is:

“How you start your day is how you live your day. How you live your day is how you live your life!”

It’s is so crucial that we start our day off on the right foot, on a positive note, on an appreciative, grateful frequency. My video tip today is on shifting your languaging from “I have to” to “I get to” throughout your day, and especially as you begin the day.

Do you wake up feeling negatively at the get go, perhaps thinking, “Ugh, I have to get up early and go to they gym” or “I have to get up early to make lunch” or “I have to go to work today …” or something similar?

The Passion Tip is to change this thought immediately from “I have to” to “I get to” such as “I get to go to the gym today” or I get to go to work today.” Do you understand the distinction in languaging? Can you feel the difference?

Your energy will shift from resentment to gratitude and beginning your day that way will make all the difference in the rest of the day and the rest of you life. Practice this for seven days and notice what transforms. As always, please share your thoughts, comments and successes.

Warmly,
